lead your kids from fighting to friendship

  • Do you feel hopeless listening to the constant fighting, loud screaming, and mean words between your kids?

It’s normal to feel frustrated by all the conflict.

Your kids’ drama can bring up all sorts of emotional baggage from your own upbringing.

It can feel like you’re failing them when…

  • Children you love are screaming angrily at the top of their lungs at one another.

  • Your kids go from best friends to enemies in a split-second.

  • They find joy in annoying, bullying or physically hurting each other.

  • You try hard to stay neutral, but there is still jealousy and fairness complaints, particularly from the Spicy One®.

How can you

know when to step in

and when to

let them figure it out on their own?

There is so much you can start doing to help your children become lifelong friends through adulthood!

And there is so much you can stop doing that will help them respect each other's differences and cheer each other on with kindness.

You want your kids to…

Treat each other with warmth, kindness, and respect.

Resolve their own conflicts with creativity like teammates.

Genuinely enjoy each other and develop a deep and lasting friendship.

Is that too much to ask?

NOPE! But it requires some brand-new communication skills from you.

It takes some parent education to create a family environment with less conflict and more affection.

Hi, I’m Mary Van Geffen,

a seasoned mom who was once just like you.

Parenting my children did not come naturally to me. I had no idea how to stay tender in the midst of defiance and unexplainable explosive emotions. In the early years, there was a lot of yelling, disrespect and anger… from both of us.

Then, when my Spicy One® turned 5, I started a life-changing healing journey to see the goodness of my child. I was determined to stay calm, kind and firm no matter what they were doing! After diving into the wounds from my own childhood, learning non-violent communication techniques, and getting my certification as a Simplicity Parenting Counselor and Professional Co-Active Coach, I was able to make space for the exceptional young adults my children have become.

I live to serve families struggling like mine once did. Allow me to support you as you developed your own unique parenting approach. I’ve coached thousands of moms across the globe to transform their relationship with their larger-than-life kids. I know you can do this!

Imagine how it would feel to…

>> Experience less fighting and more moments of cooperation

>> Watch your kids state their needs and negotiate solutions together

>> Raise kids who respect each other's limits and differences and give each other grace

>> Know your kids will be close when they're adults because they actually enjoy each other now

This is 100% possible for you.

What if you could parent in a way that helps your kids become future lifelong friends, while bringing less drama and more kindness to the now?

Imagine the future…

  • CALM

You are able to stay neutral and calm during conflict, even when the volume of bickering is loud and your children have come to the end of their limited relational skills.

  • BALANCED

Your mild child builds their confidence to stand up for themself and state their needs while your Spicy One™ learns to have empathy and see how what they do affects others.

  • RESPECTFUL

Your children are kind and respectful to each other. They work through problems like teammates, have each other’s backs and are happy about their sibling’s successes.

  • FRIENDLY

Your adult children have become lifelong friends with a beautifully mature relationship. They support each other and enjoy spending time together after you’re long gone.

No one should have to do this alone and lonely like I did.

I want to normalize the intense spiritual work of staying gentle on this journey. I want to help you tend to the child in front of you as well as the child within you.

Together, let’s quiet the noise of the judgmental world that tries to make you feel unprepared for this big job.

My mission is to help equip moms to tolerate the everyday tensions of parenthood and stay in their most loving self.

“This class helped me reframe for myself how I think about my children’s conflict to see it in a more positive light.

This chills out my fears and reactionary emotions, which means I'm not adding to the crazy energy.”
